HOW TO SUBSTITUTE FOR HEAVY CREAM
Need heavy cream for a recipe? Use this cheap and easy stand-in, and you won't have to buy any:
Prep Time: 2 minutes
Total Time: 2 minutes
Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup butter
Preparation:
1. Melt the butter.
2. Pour it into the milk, and stir.
3. Use in place of one cup of heavy cream.
Note: This substitute while not whip.
Tip: If you use low-fat milk, add a tablespoon of flour to the mixture to thicken

Preparation:
1. Place a Tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice in a liquid measuring cup.
2. Add enough milk to bring the liquid up to the one-cup line.
3. Let stand for five minute. Then, use as much as your recipe calls for.

Chocolate ,Banana, Date and Almond Cupcakes.( receipe copy and paste from internet)
Ingredients (serves 12)
Ingredients Cupcakes
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup dark choc bits
- 3 bananas
- 1 Jumbo Egg
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 1/2 cups caster sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup sunflower oil
- 1 cup flaked almonds
- 1 cup pitted dates
Ingredients Icing
- 250g Philadelphia cream cheese
- 3/4 cup icing sugar
- Juice of 2 lemons
Ingredients Topping
- 150g melted dark chocolate
- 1/3 cup flaked almonds
Method
Method for Cupcakes
- Turn oven on and heat to 180 degrees Celcius.
- Line a 12 hole muffin pan with muffin cases.
- Combine all cupcake ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
- Fill muffin cases with mixture and bake for about 30 minutes or until an inserted skewer comes out clean. Take out of the oven and allow to cool.
Method Icing
- Beat cream cheese, icing sugar and lemon juice together until a smooth consistency is achieved.
- When the cupcakes are cooled ice each cupcake with the cream cheese icing.
- Mix the melted chocolate and half of the flaked almonds together and put a dab on each iced cupcake. Sprinkle flaked almonds on top.
